- Tenders are invited for Consolidated Evidence Long Term Storage Mobile Shelving Storage System for Long-Term Storage of Evidence. HighDensity, Mechanical Assist, Mobile Storage system with four post adjustable shelving on wheeled carriages that travel on rails, eliminating the need for multiple fixed aisles. The proposed system will consist of nine (9) moveable carriages and four fixed, non-moveable shelving units. The carriages should be approximately 48 inches deep (allowing 24 inches of shelving space on each side of the carriage), 35 feet long and approximately 9 feet tall. The ceiling height of the room is approximately 12 feet tall and a 9-foot shelving height allows for an 18-inch Fire Code stand-off and approximately 18 inches on the top shelf for small and flat packages. The storage will be used to store and maintain evidence. The shelves must be able to support 1,000lbs per linear square foot. See attached PWS and diagram at the end of the document.
