- 2024-571Rockwood WMA Buckthorn RemovalThe Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids to remove & chemically treat buckthorn (Rhamnus Cathartica & Frangula Alnus) using herbicide and mechanical hand cutting (brush saw & chainsaw) on approximately 35 total acres across Rockwood WMA located in Wadena County, Minnesota. This work will consist of two treatments. Year one will serve as an initial treatment and year two will serve as a follow-up treatment for re-sprouts and any mature plants that may have been missed/survived during the initial treatment.All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal. No e-mail or faxed responses will be accepted. Contractors needing help with registration and/or completing their response to this Event may contact the Contractor Assistance Help Desk at 651-201-8100, Option 1.Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection.Please be aware that there are attachments to this event.
