The Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command, Contracting Department, San Diego, CA. 92155 intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Priced provisions for a Nearshore Meteorology and Oceanography Subject Matter (SME) Support Services.
Vendor shall provide one (1) day of targeted training on Nearshore Meteorology and Oceanography which shall develop a basic understanding of the underlying forces driving the near-shore engine, and demonstrate simple techniques to predict waves and currents along a small stretch of beach. These basic principles taught shall be applicable to all shorelines worldwide.
The COI will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The size standard is $19.0 Mil.
