Tender are invited for In accordance with 7 AAC 07.031, the Department of Health (DOH) has determined that a Certificate of Need (CON) is not required for the health care project or activity described below: Project/Activity: Central Peninsula Hospital seeks to increase its current bed capacity, adding 14 licensed beds to its existing complement of 49, for a total of 63 licensed beds. Applicant-s Name: Central Peninsula Hospital Project/Activity Service Area: Kenai Peninsula Borough Estimated Cost of Project/Activity: $0 Summary of Decision: A CON is not required for the proposed project because it does not exceed the $1.5 million statutory threshold under Alaska Statute 18.07.031. Additionally, no existing health care services are being expanded, and no new health care services are proposed.
