Sources Sought NoticeThis is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market conditions relative to STAT Reference Laboratory Testing Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23), on behalf of the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS), Minneapolis, MN is seeking to identify any vendors capable of providing contractual services for STAT Referral Laboratory Testing and Consultation Services in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the DVA and MVAHCS. The period of performance will be a five-year IDIQ contract; estimated start date is September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2029. The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center is looking for responses from contractors regarding their capability to provide the following mentioned services.Services to be provided include:The MVAHCS requires the services of a contractor to provide highly specialized and specific diagnostic testing needs. Testing needs may consist of but are not limited to STAT and Urgent drug levels, quantitative cryoglobulin levels with identification, HLA typing, special coagulation testing, factor assays, consultation on complex anatomic pathology cases, gross and microscopic neuropathology evaluations, PCR and viral culturing of infectious agents, and enzyme immunoassay on blood, bone marrow, tissue, body fluids, swabs, and other clinical specimens. These services are not performed at the MVAHCS. The contractor s laboratory is required to be within 20 miles of the MVAHCS. STAT courier service is required to be included for no additional charge and must be available 24/7, including weekends and Federal holidays Please see attached Performance Work Statement for specific test and acceptable turn around times.
