- Tenders are invited for Tactical Public Safety Video Sharing Platform
The New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of Emergency Services and
Communications (DESC) is looking for information from vendors that are capable of streaming
live video from a variety of platforms to a single user interface. These inputs include mobile
and mounted pan/tilt/zoom cameras, drone controller systems, an arial downlink receiver and
cell phones. A qualified vendor should be able to connect to these devices, have an unlimited
number of named users that can consume the video and have a configurable interface so that
up to 9 cameras at a time can be viewed.
The DESC is responsible for deploying video equipment in remote locations during
emergencies for the purpose of streaming that video to be used in making strategic decisions
during an event or emergency. DESC currently utilizes Cradlepoint systems to provide data
connectivity to proprietary devices that stream data to a cloud-based video platform for
viewing. DESC is looking to replace this system with a system better suited to handle the
deployable assets that are used on an as-needed basis
