The Spring Meadows National Recreation Area is seeking quotes to rent and excavator and loader for 1 month, with 2 options months, beginning on approximately 9/30/2025.
3.1- Excavator Technical Requirements
Machine Tail swing must be zero-turn Necessary machine attachments: Heavy duty rock bucket minimum width 36” maximum width 42” with thumb. Machine weight must be not more than 63,000 lb and not less than 55,000 lb- Machine rated horsepower of not less than 175HP metric Maximum operating hours: 1000 Machine Cab must be enclosed and conditioned (heat and airconditioning) Minimum Maximum Digging Depth 22 feet Minimum boom reach 18-8” Minimum stick reach 9.5- Quick attach to change buckets Must have a joy stick operated thumb control (no foot control) Hydraulic controls must switch easily between SAE or BHL configuration for individual operators preference. Buckets must not have any tears or stress cracks so as to cause damage or failure under normal use. All grease fittings capable of of accepting grease. Must be in a condition to meet minimum OSHA construction standards.3.2- Loader Technical Requirements
Machine minimum Max HP 250HP Machine maximum operating weight 43,000lb Machine Bucket Capacity must exceed 5yd Must have a quick detach bucket for changing attachments (primarily for the purpose of fork attachments) Maximum speed must exceed 24mph Maximum operating hours: 1000 Buckets must not have any tears or stress cracks so as to cause damage or failure under normal use.
