- The Facilities Construction R&A East CMT of the United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for a Roof Replacement project, at the United States Postal Service owned N. Charleston P&DC 7075 Cross County Road, Charleston, SC 29418-3337, Charleston County. Please see attached Summary of Work.
The estimated cost of the work is between $4,000,000 and $5,000,000; with construction completion no later than One hundred eighty (180) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
The solicitation will open November 24, 2025 on USPS eSourcing Coupa (see How to Participate below) and close on December 29, 2025. A pre-proposal meeting for this project will be held on December 9, 2025 at 10:30am, (local time) via Teleconference. Dial-In (720) 843-2876 - Code: 7442616#. The Postal Service bases contract award decisions on best value. The Postal Service is more concerned with making an award at the lowest overall price than with obtaining superior technical or management features. However, the Postal Service may not necessarily make an award at the lowest price in order to achieve a small price savings if better value can be achieved with superior technical or management features. The benefits of a higher priced proposal may merit a higher price.
