The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking sources to deliver 1,2,4 butanetriol (BT) manufactured by PENNAKEM, LLC in Memphis, Tennessee to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head MD 20640-5035. Vendors must be able to deliver PENNAKEM, LLC manufactured BT in 55-Gallon steel drums.
Award is expected to be made in the 3rd Quarter of FY25. Place of performance is at contractor site. Delivery destination will be specified in the subsequent RFP document.
This will be a competitive procurement. NAICS Code: 325199; PSC Code: 6810. The proposed contract action will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Supply type contract. The method of Source Selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Interested persons may identify their interest by providing a capabilities statement in response to this notice.
This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) database via the website https://sam.gov/content/home with a projected release of FY25 Quarter 3. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendment(s) will not be provided.
