Description
This notice is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,” as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-25-2261224 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ).

Project Description:
The NIH, NIAID, LIR, has a current requirement for 10X Genomics reagents. The required supplies being requested consist of 10X Genomics reagent kits that are needed to determine profile transcriptome of multiple subsets of lymphocytes in people living with HIV who are enrolled in three ongoing clinical trials initiated prior to January 20, 2025. The trials aim to study the pathogenesis of B and T cells and to suppress and eliminate HIV reservoirs and plasma viremia in patients receiving infusions of anti-HIV antibodies and anti-CD4 antibodies. The development of anti-HIV antibodies capable of eliminating persistent HIV reservoirs and reducing plasma viremia could revolutionize HIV treatment, potentially leading to an HIV cure.
