Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

127EAW25R0012 - O'Neil Creek Bridge Repairs:

The scope of this project entails removal and replacement of damaged precast prestressed concrete deck slabs, steel bridge railing, bridge approach rail and terminal sections, and type 3 object markers in accordance with plans and specifications. The contractor will also be required to perform all survey, staking, and traffic control.

Project Location: Milepost 1.1 of National Forest System Road 45N32Y on the Happy Camp Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest in Siskiyou County, California. From the Happy Camp Ranger Station in Happy Camp, California, travel east on CA-96 for 20.2 miles, turn right onto Walker Creek Road (NFSR 46N64) for 3.1 miles, turn left onto NFSR 46N65 for approximately 6.5 miles, turn left onto NFSR 45N32Y for 1.1 miles. 41°46-44.3” N, 123°08-08.9” W.

Solicitation Number 127EAW25R0012 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 5th, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.

There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
