Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) plans to establish a five (5) year Basic Ordering Agreement for the repair of 114 items in support of H-60, E-2 and P-3 platforms for the United States Navy and FMS countries. A list of the items has been uploaded with this synopsis as an Attachment A. The line items listed on the Attachment A, will be repaired by Lockheed Martin (03640).Lockheed Martin is located in the Owego, NY and is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Orders issued under the Basic Ordering Agreement and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).The items contemplated for procurement of repair require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition.Only the source previously approved by the government for repair of these items will be solicited.The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Offers received failing to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or document previous submission of all data required by the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation.
