This is a FMS Repair requirement for the repair and upgrade of NSN 7RH 1680 015830119.This notice serves as a Synopsis for the repair of 2 units of NIIN 015830119, Part Number 2030584-001, USSR, for Foreign Military Sales (Switzerland). NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document.This requirement is being synopsized as a sole source procurement to DRS TRAINING and CONTROL SYSTEMS, LLC, as the Agency anticipates receiving a single acceptable offer from this source. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items.Other capable firms identified as sources IAW with the controlling drawing(s) for this item (including the drawing owner) may contact the government POC identified in this synopsis to express interest in the requirement.Complete data, drawings, and the rights to the same are not available from the Government; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.The repairable assemblies to be repaired and/or modified under this agreement are set forth by manufacturers part number and constitute Government Property as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 Government Property or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable.All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements.An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity-s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.The subject item requires Government source approval prior to contract award.Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these items will be solicited.
