Description
This is a synopsis to award the below FMS repair requirements under an existing Repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), with Raytheon Company (96214) in support of the F18 Aircraft: Nomen: INTERCONNECTING BOX; NSN: 1680 015014969; PN: 6399106-101; Qty 4Nomen: CONTROL, CONVERTER; NSN: 5895 015336582; PN: 4974204-1; Qty 1Orders issued under the Basic Ordering Agreement and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The data needed to acquire this part or complete contract repair competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material or repair for a competitive solicitation.NAVSUP WSS intends on awarding sole source to Raytheon (96214), and that the lack of response from any other source will consider them to be not interested.FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, will not be utilized for this action.All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on February 10, 2025 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. NAVSUP WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, Source Approval Documents to the POC listed in this notice.
