This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial goods and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12405B23Q0368 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 333111, Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-03.
The USDA, ARS, in Florence, SC requires a 2-row plot combine with the following:
Two-row plot combine. Diesel engine (75 hp or greater) 2-person cab with A/C and heat. Electronic grain weigh system with moisture sensor. Ability to weight plot samples. Ability to bag samples. Ability to collect subsamples. Electronic data collections system and hand-held computer Hydrostatic drive controls 30 bu or greater Grain storage tank with unloading auger Safety guards and lighting package 2-row corn header (for 30-inch rows) 2-row grain header (60 inches wide)
Any quotes not meeting the minimum specifications will not be considered.
