Description
The USDA, APHIS, Plant Protection and Quarantine requires aircraft, personnel, facilitating equipment, and services to apply pesticides. The objective is to reduce the grasshopper population in the project areas, which when combined is estimated to be 43,470 total acres with an estimated 21,735 treated/sprayed acres using alternating swath (spray, skip, spray) application.
The rate of application will be 13 total ounces per acre: 1 ounce of Dimilin 2L, 4 ounces crop oil, 8 ounces of water
