- Spalding County Is Seeking Sealed Bids From Qualified Contractors For The Resurfacing Of The Walking Track At Historic Sunny Side Community Park, Located At 4924 Old Atlanta Road, Griffin, Ga 30223. This Project Is Funded Through The Tire-derived Product Grant From The Georgia Department Of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division. A Mandatory Information Conference/pre-proposal Meeting Is Required For This Invitation. Introduction The Project Involves The Removal Of Existing Asphalt Surface Material And Installing A New Tire-derived Product Surface For The Walking Track. The Work Includes: ¿ Removal Of Existing Asphalt Track Surface ¿ Base Preparation And Repairs As Needed ¿ Installation Of New 1.5-inch-thick Bonded Rubber Mulch Surface ¿ Site Security During Construction ¿ Total Surface Area: Approximately 6,500 Square Feet Bid Format Requirements Each Response To This Invitation To Bid Shall Include The Information Described.
