- The Cherokee County Board Of Commissioners Purchasing Department (county) Is Requesting Competitive Sealed Bids In Support Of Annual Services For Roadway Right-of-way Mowing. The Work To Be Done Consists Of Furnishing All Of The Material, Labor And Equipment Necessary For Roadway Right-of-way Mowing And Maintenance At Various Locations Throughout Cherokee County As Needed, If And Where Directed By The County. Bidders Must Be Unconditionally Qualified Prospective Bidders In Accordance With Chapter 672-5 Of The Rules Of The Georgia Department Of Transportation And The Awarded Bidder Must Perform At Least Fifty-percent (50%) Of The Work In The Contract. The County Intends To Award A Multi-term Agreement; With Autorenewal Options Potentially Extending The Contract For A Total Of 5 Years.
