Description:
The work for the WINN STREET CULVERT REPLACEMENT shall consist of but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction of the following: Winn Street • Removal of the existing quadruple (4) 4-foot-diameter, 60-foot-long corrugated metal pipe culverts and replacing the culverts with the construction of a 6- (rise) x 16- (span) x 62- (length) concrete box culvert across Winn Street. • Removal of the existing concrete Hart Brook channel adjacent to the culvert and replacing the concrete channel with riprap. • Reconstruct water main in Winn Street to accommodate the new culvert. o City will provide water main materials, Contractor responsible for installation only. • Construct new chain link fence with gates around the upstream and downstream ends of the new culvert. • Install new guardrail along both sides of Winn Street. • Box-cut Winn Street and install roadway gravel. Grind butt joins as needed. Pave disturbed roadway sections. • Repair lawn areas as necessary
