The Cherokee County Board Of Commissioners Purchasing Department (county) Is Requesting Competitive Sealed Bids On Behalf Of The City Of Nelson, Georgia In Seeking A Qualified And Licensed General Contractor To Provide Improvements To The North Section Of Ballfield Park In Nelson, Ga And Updates To A Small Park Property Near The Main Site. These Improvements Will Generally Consist Of A Full Basketball Court, A Half Basketball Court, Four Pickleball Courts, Two Small Pavilions, A Children's Play Court, A Future Community Garden, Walking Trails, Several Parking Spaces, And Ornamental Landscaping. Project Area: Total Area: 3.03 Acres Disturbed Area: 1.98 Acres (86,679 Sq. Ft.) And Meeting The Specifications As Further Described Herein. The City Has Set Aside 274 Calendar Days For Construction. There Will Not Be A Pre-bid Meeting. Bidders Certify That They Have Walked The Site With Submission Of A Bid.
