- Description:
- The Project includes work at four locations including two road segment reconstruction projects, one sidewalk project and one pavement restriping project. The scope of work will include full depth reconstruction and rehabilitation of approximately two one-half mile arterial road segments incorporating the placement of asphalt concrete pavement, aggregate base, geogrid, and earthwork. The work will further include cold milling and export of asphalt concrete, the removal/placement of pavement striping and markings, metal hand railings, chain link fence, minor traffic signal modifications and landscape restoration. Additional work will include the demolition and placement of portland cement concrete curb & cutter, cross gutters & spandrels, sidewalks, drive approaches, driveways, parkway drains, stair/steps, and ADA accessible curb ramps. Support work will include preparation of temporary traffic control plans, implementing and maintenance of temporary traffic control, public notifications, storm water pollution prevention plan/planning and implementation of erosion control, Best Management Practices. The majority of the work will be in the public right-of-way and some work on private properties.
