- Description:
- The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia (“the Owner”) seeks proposals from interested qualified firms to submit a bid to Glynn County for the 2025 LMIG RESURFACING AND RESTRIPING PROJECT. This project consists of resurfacing and restriping of streets on mainland Glynn County and on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, indicated herein. The work to be performed under this contract consists of the resurfacing and restriping of streets identified herein. The project will require some patching / pothole work that will consist generally of traffic control, existing base, subgrade and paving removal and replacement, and resurfacing of the affected area. The resurfacing work is generally straightforward regarding the general requirements such as traffic control, clipping, milling, sweeping, tack, leveling, resurfacing, and restriping. This project will also include some curb construction. Each road has its own unique requirements which are listed in the itemization for each location. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications, Special Provisions and the construction drawings. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications
