- City of Winooski (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2025 Road Resurfacing Contract No. STR-26-03 Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project, submitted in an opaque package labeled “2025 Paving,” will be received at Winooski City Hall, attn: Finance Director, located at 27 West Allen Street, Winooski, VT 05404, until Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A Bid tabulation will be sent to all Bidders after Bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: Pavement resurfacing four Class 3 Highways in Winooski, Vermont: 1) George Street, 2) Franklin Street north of Bellevue Street, 3) Bellevue Street from Franklin Street to Dion Street, and 4) Dion Street north of Bruce Street (excluding the intersection of Gamelin Court). The Work includes estimated quantities as follows: cold planing 7,400 square yards of bituminous concrete pavement, full depth reclamation of 2,200 square yards of bituminous concrete pavement (includes 370 linear feet of Bellevue Street east of Hood Street, and 310 linear feet of Dion Street between Bellevue Street and Gamelin Court), resurfacing with 1,250 tons of bituminous concrete wearing course, and traffic control during construction. Add-alternate scopes include reconstruction of 250 linear feet of concrete curb and small quantities of concrete sidewalk (on Dion Street), and 30 linear feet of perforated underdrain pipe (on Bellevue Street). The Project has a Substantial Completion deadline of Friday, November 7, 2025, and a Final Completion deadline of Friday, November 14, 2025.
