The Forsyth County Procurement Department Will Accept Sealed Bids Until 2:00 P.m. On Thursday, December 18, 2025 For The Following: The Forsyth County Board Of Commissioners Is Soliciting Bids From Qualified Firms To Provide Construction Services For The Forsyth County ¿ Demolition And Abatement Of Hearthstone Lodge. The Project Includes The Following Major Components: 1. Demolish Existing Building Structures To Include Slabs. 2. Properly Abate All Asbestos Containing Materials As Required By Epd. 3. Demolish Pool And Backfill, Compact With Stone And Soil. 4. Demolish And Remove All Associated Pool Equipment. 5. Demolish And Close Existing Well. 6. Remove All Remaining Debris In The Pool Area And Anything On The Exterior Of The Facility. All Items Left Behind To Be Disposed Of By The Contractor. 7. Stabilize Soil And Site As Needed And Compact And Straw. 8. Parking Lot And Asphalt To Remain. 9. Existing Septic System To Remain. 10. See Additional General Conditions. 11. Contractor Is Recommended To Recycle As Much As Possible, Including The Aluminum Pool Enclosure.
