Description:
Mission Housing Development Corporation is seeking a skilled and passionate Owner-s Construction Representative to oversee the development of 250 Laguna Honda, a 100% affordable housing project in San Francisco-s Forest Hill neighborhood. This development will feature 172 units, with 25% reserved for families exiting homelessness and the remaining units designated for low-income households earning no more than 80% of the Area Median Income. As the Owner-s Construction Representative, your scope of work will include managing preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases. You-ll provide expertise in design reviews, cost and schedule management, construction oversight, and closeout coordination. Key responsibilities include advising on permits and compliance, monitoring construction quality and progress, reviewing change orders, and assisting inspections, and punch list completion. This project prioritizes diversity and inclusion, with a 25% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal for the entire project and subcontracting services. Proposals that meet or exceed this goal are eligible for significant rating bonuses, including a 10% bonus for SBE prime proposers and a 7.5% bonus for joint ventures with at least 40% SBE participation. Proposers are encouraged to showcase their commitment to equity by including certified DBEs, SBEs, MBEs, WBEs, and LBEs. Please note that there will be no pre-bid meeting or site walkthrough for this RFQ. Proposers should refrain from disturbing current site occupants.
