PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS
The Marine Design Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to initiate an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in the near future to procure services for drydocking, maintenance, repair, and completion of required ABS Surveys for the NASA Barge PEGASUS.
The work consists of maintenance and repair, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) surveys & coordination, & scope specific modifications on the NASA barge PEGASUS. The principal dimensions and characteristics shown below are approximate and are provided for descriptive purposes only:

Prior to the award of this Contract, the Contractor shall enter into a "Mastership Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels". If the Contractor has entered such an agreement prior to this Contract, that agreement may be utilized. For more information, see DFARS Subpart 252.217-71, Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels.
