Contract Title. Brand Name or Equal: Bauer UNICUS 4/S25H-E3 N1 6000 PSI Compressor. 3. Background. The Bath VA Medical Center Fire Department relies on a high-pressure air compressor to fill self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinders, which are essential for firefighter safety during emergency response operations. The current compressor has reached the manufacture s end-of-life, meaning it is outdated, and increasingly difficult to maintain. 4. Scope. The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to procure and install a BAUER UNICUS 4S/25H-E3 N1 6000 PSI Compressor, Fire Edition or an equal unit that meets or exceeds the specified technical and performance requirements, for the Bath VA Medical Center Fire Department. This unit will replace the current, outdated compressor, which has reached the manufacturer s end-of-life and received multiple work orders for repairs. The new system will ensure reliable and efficient high-pressure air compression for critical fire department operations. 5.
