The Government requests that interested parties review the Description of Services and provide the proposal information to the Contract Specialist, Nicole Renfrew, at Nicole.Renfrew@va.gov, by 9:00 AM PST on January 15, 2025.The contractor must provide all personnel, expertise, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, due diligence and other items and services necessary, as described in the Statement of Work, to retrofit three (3) boilers at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) facility boiler plant, building # 40, located at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA, 94304.The objective of this project is to retrofit three (3) existing VAPAHCS boilers to meet the safety standards required per Directive 1810, Master Specifications and Boiler Safety Manual, 8th Edition found on Technical Information Library (TIL) Technical Information Library (TIL) - Office of Construction & Facilities Management (va.gov), and to remove deficiencies as delineated in the Boiler Efficiency Institute (BEI) Boiler Safety Device Testing report dated July 20, 2023, attached herewith.The scope of the project is to address the deficiencies listed in section 3.1 of the Statement of Work and identified in the BEI report with corresponding numbers.
