This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This soliciting this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the delivery of 1 EA F-180 CFM56-2 Engine Stands (Part Number: CFM International 856A1122G10 (brand name or equal)) for the 373 TRS at 3 detachments. One engine stand will be delivered to three separate detachments located in Fairchild AFB, WA, Offutt AFB, NE & MacDill AFB, FL. See attachment 1- F-108 Engine Trainer Stand Pictures, for guidelines to ensure the stand can support an F-108 engine, CFM56-2. The 82d Contracting Squadron at Sheppard AFB, TX anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This requirement is brand name or equal. The following delivery addresses are the 3 Detachments to receive an engine stand:

***Amendment 1- The purpose of this amendment is to update the product specification sheet to only inlcude blueprints for the 856A1122G10 stand. The engine that the stands will be holding is the CFM56-2B.***
***Amendment 2- The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that "or equal" parts are acceptable.***
***Amendment 3- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response deadline to Thursday, September 11th at 1:00 PM CST to allow additional time to provide sufficient answers to questions received.***
