This is not a solicitation. This is a notification of an intent to award a sole source procurement under NAICS code 333248. The Bureau of Reclamation Acquisition and Operation Branch in Denver, Colorado will solicit and award a purchase order to Atlantic Diving Supply, INC. The requirement is to procure a 3D systems model EXT 1070 Titan Pellet large format 3D printer with integrated machining capabilities and associated accessories. This machine is specified with two toolheads: the first toolhead must utilize pellet extrusion (not filament), the second toolhead must be a CNC spindle. This requirement for the second toolhead as a spindle is uniquely suited to meet Reclamations needs. Furthermore, 3D Systems Corporation has confirmed that ADS Inc., a U.S.-based small business, is their sole authorized distributor for this equipment.The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Savanna Manning at smanning@usbr.gov within fifteen (15) days of this notice. Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements.
