- The City of Tampa is currently seeking bids from qualified firms for 4\" - 12\" Ductile Iron Pipe for use by the Water Department. All materials shall be in accordance with these Material Specifications and shall, in no event, be less than that necessary to conform to the requirements of any applicable law, ordinances and codes. All materials or products that will be in contact with potable water shall be listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF-61 listed) or by an approved certifying agency as conforming to the requirements of ANSI/NSF-61.
