THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL POSTED ON OR ABOUT MARCH 3, 202336C25923R0052_1 Design Build Emergency Department Lobby Remodel 436-22-122This requirement is a design build. The VA requires the AE and Construction services of a qualified contractor to provide design and construction of the renovation of the existing Emergency Department Waiting Area, Lobby and Information Desk areas to provide two Emergency Department Airborne Infection Isolation/Waiting (Negative Air) rooms and associated Airborne Infection Isolation (Negative Air) Corridor. Work is to include creation of a new wheelchair corral, supplemental ED waiting area, Triage Nurse Office/Exam room, Information Desk and equipment storage area. The existing lobby ceiling is to be replaced in its entirety with new acoustical ceiling panel and grid system. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $45 M. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below.The POC for this project will be Ilze Karklins-Powers.
