Description:
BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York. BNL intends to compete the subject requirement, to be utilized within the United States.
BNL requires a power controller/regulator to control the input power to a 9 MW doubly fed wound rotor induction motor which drives a 95 MVA salient pole Generator. Please see attached DRAFT Statement of Work and DRAFT Technical Specifications for details.
Note: One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.
Solicitation Information:
This requirement will provide for full and open competition. BNL intends to issue solicitation RFP 462624 in support of this requirement in December 2025. BNL expects to make one (1) award.
The anticipated award contract type is a Firm Fixed Price contract. At this time, BNL anticipates award date to be around April 2026.
