NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia isseeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the item as specified within this document.The Government intends to solicit with approved sources onlyunder the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends tosolicit for the REPAIR of: NSN 7RH 4810 015786602, P/N3289562-5, VALVE, BUTTERFLY, under the P8 Aircraft. TheGovernment does not possess (or cannot provide) the datanecessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. Sources must present their valid FAA capability documents to be considered valid. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this noticeis solely within the discretion of the Government. SourceApproval is required. WSS will not delay award while SourceApproval is pending.The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a newsource.
