NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: THE EASTERN FEDERAL LANDS HIGHWAY DIVISION (EFLHD), OF THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA), INTENDS TO PROCURE FROM LARSA, INC., LOCATED IN MELVILLE, NY, MAINTENANCE SUBSCRIPTION FOR LARSA 4D BRIDGE PLUS SOFTWARE.
LARSA, INC., IS THE SOLE AUTHOR AND DISTRIBUTOR OF THE SEGMENTAL BRIDGE ANAYLSIS AND DESIGN SOFTWARE, AND THE ONLY VENDOR THAT CAN PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, SOFTWARE UPGRADES, AND MAINTENANCE.
THE LARSA 4D BRIDGE PLUS SOFTWARE IS THE ONLY SOFTWARE THAT CAN SATISFY THE OFFICE OF FEDERAL LANDS NEED FOR SOFTWARE THAT CAN PERFORM AN ANALYSIS AND DESIGN FOR CONCRETE SEGMENTAL BRIDGES. IN ORDER TO ASSURE THE SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE WITH STANDARDS AND THE DESIGNERS HAVE SUPPORT ON HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE, IT IS NECESSARY TO KEEP THE SOFTWARE COVERED BY A MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT AGREEMENT.
