Tender are invited for PROPOSAL TO AMEND A STATE AIRPORT LAND LEASE: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-50879, Lot 5, Block 22, consisting of approximately 33,000 square feet, at Yakutat Airport, to expire December 1, 2057. Applicant: Yakutat Hanger LLC. Annual rent: $5,907.00. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Storage of aircraft and equipment in support of Lessee's aeronautical business; crew quarters in the wings of the building for pilots, maintenance staff and site managers who are all directly related to the aeronautical use of the Lessee. Non-aeronautical - Temporary use for restrictive DEC-monitored contaminated soil farming in a portion of the hangar. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., September 12, 2025 after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
