This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. SCOPEVendor shall provide all services to conduct cleaning of ship-s hull IAW B10014.D referenced in section 3.
BACKGROUNDHull growth over time can cause propulsion, maneuverability and stability concerns. Currently, DANIEL TARR cannot successfully complete a full power trial. Data analyzed shows engines are running at full capacity but not achieving full speed, suggesting a dirty hull to be the causative factor.
