The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only.Description of Requirement::Provide and set up (60) APX NEXT portable radios to the MZC with Smart connect for First Year MZC Services and codeplug development at the Boston VA Healthcare System. 1. Perform testing and optimization of equipment 2. Perform the programming being purchased under this quotation 3. Perform all work and tasks required according to manufacturers recommendations. 4. Upon completion of the work, a review of the system will be conducted by the Contractor with a Boston VA Physical Security Specialist for commissioning purposes. 5. The Contractor will provide all the manuals and operating instructions for the system to Police Service.Prior Government contract work is not required to submit a response under this Sources Sought synopsis. The intent of the project is to award a firm fixed price purchase order agreement for one base year and four possible option years. The limitations of subcontracting will apply to any potential contract. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there are any businesses that can perform this requirement to warrant a solicitation set-aside.
