Description
This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the Canandaigua VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about May 9th, 2025 for 528A5-24-516 - Replace 5MV Transformer at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. Contractor is to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, to replace the primary 5 MVA transformer in kind. Work shall include disconnect and removal of the existing transformer, installation of a new transformer, connection and testing. Contractor to provide a crane service for removal and installation of equipment. Existing transformer to be turned over to VA. All Electrical work to be in compliance with NEC and equipment manufacturer standards.The project duration is 3 years due to the current estimated lead times of similar transformers. The NAICS code is 238210. The small business standard is $19.0 M. The cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000.. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation and is estimated to be on or about 5/20/2025.
