SYNOPSIS:INTRODUCTION: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for the Construct EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Aurora, CO.PROJECT DESCRIPTION:Project Description: Upgrade HVAC in 5 Telcom rooms per VA EHRM standards. Work includes all aspects of design and installation including, but not limited to ducted FCU or In-room unit sizing, selection, location and installation, connection to existing chilled water, electrical, building automation and other systems, relocation or rerouting of other building systems as necessary, firestopping or other similar work, etc. Work is located on different floors of an outpatient clinic building on a hospital campus. Work will need to comply with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and disruptive work or utility shutdowns may need to be conducted after-hours.PROCUREMENT INFORMATION:The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the design- build approach in FAR Part 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures. This project is planned for advertising in FY25. In accordance with Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 (size standard $39.5 million) applies to this procurement.
