- INTRODUCTION
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract for the design-bid-build minor construction project #561A4-22-700, EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Construction at the Lyons VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 151 Knollcroft Rd. Lyons, NJ 07939.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, quality assurance, and supervision for renovations resulting in a complete, compliant, and fully-functional project, including proactive safety and infection control compliance, selective demolition, installation, testing, and certification of significant volume of Cat6a cabling throughout all buildings as well as between each, normal and emergency electrical distribution system improvements (i.e. power distribution panels, lighting, controls, receptacles, grounding-bonding, UPS, etc.), physical security and access control system upgrades, finishes including walls, floors, and ceilings of new or altered rooms, and more as described in the design and specification documents, throughout all buildings.
Contractor shall complete the intent of this project in strict accordance with the SOW, drawings, and specifications. All work not specifically identified by the drawings and/or specifications but necessary for a complete system shall be included as if specifically identified in the Contract Documents.
ADMINISTRATIVE
The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR part 15 and will be evaluated in accordance with the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total Small Business set-aside. Offers received from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered.
