PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Solicitation: 36C25226B0001Project: 578-15-008: Update Wayfinding Signage Hines (CON)Location: The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 S. Fifth Avenue Hines, IL 60141The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (EHVAH) has a requirement to update its wayfinding signage on the Hines Campus and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS) in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. The primary objective is to update the interior and exterior way-finding signage on the EHVAH Main Campus and all the EHVAH CBOCs. The objectives of this project are to: 1. Remove and dispose of all the obsolete way-finding signage, materials, and spoils in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.2. Install/replace all the existing way-finding signage in accordance with the VA Signage Design manual.3. Install new way-finding signage in accordance with the project Specifications and drawings. Note: any variance from the specified locations in the drawings must be approved by the COR prior to installation.All work conducted under this scope of work shall comply with the Department of Veterans Affairs Master Specifications and other Federal, State, and local requirements. The Period of Performance is Four Hundred Fifty (450) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819....
