Solicitation: 36C25225B0014Project: 578-20-002: Renovations to Building 217 (CON)Location: Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 S. Fifth Avenue Hines, IL 60141The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital has a requirement to renovate portions of the Community Living Center (Building 217) in accordance with project statement of work (SOW), drawings and specifications thereby enhancing the healing environment of the facility for patients, visitors, and staff. The Scope of Work for this project includes all labor, management, equipment, and materials for renovation of the Community Living Center, Building 217. This renovation is made up of 11 separate CLINs, each to be priced and phased separately, however, CLINs 1 and 2 are the BASE bid while CLINs 3 through 11 are options. All measurements/dimensions are approximate. The Contractor must verify all measurements/dimensions.The Period of Performance is Seven Hundred Fifty (750) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for Base and all options. The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, SOW, drawings, and specifications will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms.
