Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full-and-open competition to award a contract to BAE Systems, Land and Armaments L.P. of Minneapolis, MN. This contract will be issued in support of the MK 110 57mm Gun Mount FY27-31 production, logistics support, engineering support, waterfront support, technical support, repairs, components and spares.
This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and ability to satisfy the Government-s MK110 requirements within the required schedule.
Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the prime contractor (BAE) directly. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to solicit from more than one source is solely within the discretion of the Government.
