SYNOPSIS:INTRODUCTION: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for the Construct SCI Reno/Addition at the Hampton VA Medical Center located in Hampton, VA.PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the project per construction drawings and specifications. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, professional services, and expertise required to perform general construction, renovations, installation of medical devices, alterations, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, concrete work, masonry work, grading, grubbing, seeding, necessary removal and disposal of existing trees, structures, and certain other items as indicated in the construction documents. The contractor shall manage and perform construction period services as further defined in the contract to include, but not limited to, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, equipment, scheduling, inspection and testing, environmental protection, recording of (As-Built) drawings and project closeout.This work includes, but is not limited to: Renovation:Renovation of approximately 25,000 sqft of the existing SCI ward in building 137C as indicated in the construction documents.Work must be performed in a careful manner protecting from damage those items not to be removed.
