Description:
This pre-solicitation notice is for the anticipated Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Performance Based Logistics contract to support the 33 components overseen by L3 Technologies (See Attachment A for list of items). The expected period of performance for this PBL contract will be for a total of 5 years.
The awardee shall be required to repair or replace the items found in Attachment A and supplying or manufacturing the parts needed for those repairs. The awardee shall also be responsible for supplying or manufacturing the consumable components. The awardee shall also be required to partner with the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), San Diego, CA for some of the repair touch labor and therefore are required to renew and/or execute a new Commercial Services Agreement (CSA) and/or Public Private Partnership (PPP).
The awardee shall also be responsible for maintaining a pool of assets required to fill requisitions within specified response times, operation of logistic management systems, requisition processing, obsolescence and configuration management, warehousing, packaging and handling. The Contractor will be responsible for delivering Ready for Issue (RFI) material to CMIO to respond to COMSEC fleet requisitions in accordance with a COMSEC Availability Metric.
