Description:
The City of Santa Fe, NM (City) is posting Emergency #60-M0087-25-EM132The Santa Fe Police Department requested an emergency procurement for animal boarding and care services; ThePurchasing Division completed the solicitation (50-M0087-24-EM158) in November 2024 and contract 3250332 wasexecuted on January 14, 2025. During the contract term, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued and remains underevaluation. Amendment #1, executed on August 8, 2025, increased the contract compensation by $150,000 and extendedthe term by six months, establishing a new expiration date of February 5, 2026. We are currently requesting anotheramendment to the contract to increase compensation by $152,289. At this time, negotiations between the City of Santa Feand the Animal Shelter are still ongoing, and a final agreement has not yet been reached.
