PURPOSE:
The Coast Guard is issuing this request for information (RFI) for market research purposes to identify sources that can either lease or sale a 60-ton floating barge crane for the Philipines Navy.
Sources must be able to complete one of these options or provide a different opportunity that will meet the requirement.
Lease of one (1) 60-Ton floating barge crane for 12 months with an option to lease for an additional 12 months, or Purchase of one (1) 60-Ton REFURBISHED floating barge crane.REQUIREMENT:
The 60 Tons Floating Crane will be utilized for lifting operations during the conduct of Depot Level Maintenance of Philippine Navy Floating Assets. It will enable the Naval Shipyard to handle wider range of heavy loads, such as Auxiliary and Main engines and will be utilize during beaching of small boats such as Multi-Purpose Attacks Crafts (MPACs), Patrol Boats (PBS) and Boat Attacks (BAs).
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Crane mounted-on barges, providing flexible solutions for cargo handling in harbors or waterways where quay capabilities are limited. Crane used in lifting equipment, small boats, and other heavy materials from the seaside portion of vessels and or at pier side Full Deck Length- 47.5 Meters.
Full Draft- 4 Meters Cargo Deck Area- 20 Meters x 14 Meters Gross Tonnage - 859 Tons Lifting Capacity: (as appropriate) 15 Tons at 18 Meters 40 Tons at 16 Meters 60 Tons at 10 MetersDELIVERY LOCATION:
