DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Office 7 is looking to award a firm-fixed price contract and reimbursement will be on a per-delivery run basis. Contractor will provide courier service for RMD pickup and delivery for Sterile Processing Services, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS).Sterile Processing Services (SPS) is a full-service sterile processing department performing reprocessing at Montgomery (West Campus) site. All RMD collected for reprocessing must be delivered to SPS on west campus, in adequate time to preserve the integrity of the RMD. With current workload and VA patient population, it is necessary that all RMD are delivered to SPS at West Campus, Monday through Friday, twice (2) per day for MVAC and Tuskegee. Line 1 will be exercise on an everyday basis unless an event occurs with SPS to exercise Lines 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
