This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24225B0039 - Project No. 632-12-106 Renovate Sterile Processing Department at Northport Healthcare System located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The project seeks to demolish and remove existing structures and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the renovation and modernization of the Sterile Processing Department in B200 of approximately 6,000 SF of existing space located on the 1st floor of the main hospital. Work includes but not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. Work shall be persecuted in accordance with drawings and specifications. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with Size Standard of $45 Million. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The solicitation is to be issued as an Invitation for Bids under FAR Part 14. Bid bond from the Department of the Treasury s Listing of Approved Sureties is required. Bid guarantee amount shall not exceed $3 Million or 20% of the bid price. IAW VAAR 852.219-10, this project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Competition will be restricted to SBA verified and certified SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and be registered on https://www.sam.gov at the time of bid opening.A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be held, at a date, time, and location to be provided with the solicitation. Only one site visit is planned.
